グランド ホテル リビエラ - ソレント

It is really good hotel at good location. Staffs are nice.　最高の立地のホテルで、スタッフも親切です。

町の中心までは歩いて10分程度ですが、その不便さを補っても海に沈む夕日がとてもよく見える場所でした。泊まった間はいい天気で毎日素敵な夕焼けでし- た。 ホテルも清潔でフロントの方もとても親切で予約をお願いしたレストランが定休日だったのですが、かわりの海辺のレストランを紹介していただき、と- てもおいしかったです。（紹介者の方の奥さまのお気に入りのレストランということでした。）また、レストランの車で送迎もあり、とてもよいサービスでし- た。（途中で他のホテルの客と同乗などはありますが。）

The staff were unfailingly courteous, helpful and efficient. The facilities were very good. The air conditioning was unobtrusive and efficient.

I was a bit surprised at the private beach arrangements. The area does not open until 9am. However, the attendant was putting down towels on beds to reserve them for people before it opened (presumably for a good tip).

The old traditional style make me comfortable.

The room size is a little small. The window view in the room with ocean view may be partially occupied by the building itself. This hotel located near the coast, and mildly far from train station. The transportation is not convenient in Sorrento. You can only walk or take the taxi.

The staff was excellent; very polite and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the food and dining experience was very good.

Would have preferred a larger room.

The sweet trolley items were poor. Apart from that very minor item we liked every aspect of the hotel, its location and particularly its staff.

The people at the front desk were great. Specially Ciro. Claudio at the restaurant was fantastic and Paolo at the beach was also great. They were friendly and helpful. I loved my room. The view was fantastic. The hotel is close to town and yet in a quiet area. I recommend this hotel.

wanderful holliday, best choice on sorrento, best view everiwhere in the hotel and around, warm personell, all of them, carreful driverer - Lino, definetelly to be recommended.

Large rooms, wonderful views

Breakfast was poor, pool was unheated, no in room facilities, eg no clock or tea making equipment

I liked the friendliness of the waiters.

Within walking distance of town centre with excellent shops and eating places and harbour area. Central location for trips to Pompei and Amalfi. Reception and restaurant staff excellent - nothing too much trouble. Snorkling off the 'beach' was fantastic with a great variety of fish to see.

Swimming Pool and 'Beach' closed at 1830hrs during peak summer period - should be open later to allow enjoyment of the evening sun. Would have liked to hire a small boat/canoe/pedalo from the beach area - not available, although free use of snorkles and flippers was appreciated. Parking can be a problem for the Hotel but not too much for guests - you leave the car keys with reception and staff juggle the cars in the restricted private parking area to allow entry/exit as required. Your car may be moved during the day even though you don't use it.

Location was excellent. Privacy - out of crowded centre of Sorrento. Fabilous views, perfect indeed. Private beach was much appreciated. A la carte menu was nice too.Public space of the hotel were very nice with views.

Dinner was served between 19 and 21 - nobody eats that time in Italy - except North European turists - I did not like this. Bar closed early. Pool and beach could stay open till 20 and not close as early as 18:30.Bit slimy staff. unclear billing when signing for the room bill, guest should have clear coopy every time one sign something - difficult to verify indeed. Also one staff member at the bar was doing some monkey business asking us to pay in cash in order to get better deals - Diego was his name - it was bit strange.

Beautiful views from bedroom and verandah. Wonderful position. Fantastic swimming, loved the private swimming area. Close to shopping area. Delicious breakfast. Would definitely love to return one day! Highly recommend this hotel

If anyone decides to stay in this hotel, he/she should do so only if willing to pay a little more and take a room with a sea view. The money is worth it then. The other rooms that don't have a room are very poor are not worth the money! We asked for a different room immediately and payed a little more, but we were very satisfied after the upgrade because we had an exceptional panoramic view. The room was very clean and you have the option to swim in the pool or go down with an elevator to swim in the sea!

Breakfast was also good. Although for the price, the hotel should offer fresh juice!

Well refurbished hotel in excellent location in centre of Sorrento. Stuuning views and hotel benefits additionally from free car park on site.
